Lots of great reviews here and elsewhere do I was hugely disappointed. Average entres (not bad), average mains. Because of this we skipped dessert. Service was fine. Maybe the chef was having a bad night.

Given the other good reviews, I can only assume we caught them on a bad night. The place was cute and small with a lovely rock wall and exposed beams, unfortunately it had a very strong smell of mould and drains - so much so that my food had a slightly musty taste as a result. The only menu was hand written on a blackboard (i.e. UnGoogle-translatable!) and the hostess didn't speak English, so non French customers may have a problem. The foie gras was average at best (easily the least nice we've had, including the supermarket fois gras we bought). Other meals were acceptable but nowhere near the standard of other similarly priced restaurants in the area.
We ate at Islo on September 4th. A return visit, as we had been so impressed when we ate there on our previous visit to L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We were again delighted with the welcome and service from front of house, and with the food - prepared and presented with such obvious love and attention. It was also great value, and we very much enjoyed the local beer and wine that we had with our food. Having eaten at several other restaurants in the town, including La Prevoté, we would make this our No. 1 choice on our next visit to la belle Sorgue Jim & Nuala - Irlande

Une merveille ! J'y fête souvent mon anniversaire ainsi que la St Valentin. J'espère pouvoir revenir bientôt. Tout y est parfait, la gentillesse du couple, le cuisine, la qualité, l'ambiance, le confort. Une petite pépite.
Je vous conseille cette établissement si vous voulez ,passer un bon moment mais surtout si vous voulez manger des produits de qualité et cuisiner ,le moindre condiment est cuisinier,quelle régale merci pour ce bon moment
