Lovely building, excellent friendly staff and great food! Good choice of dishes on the menu and reasonably priced. We would advise booking, as coving restrictions make it difficult to get somewhere good at busy times. We went three times in a week and enjoyed every meal. Must try!

Fantastic food, excellent service and in a lovely space. The most consistently delicious food we've had for a long time, and the black forest gateaux with cherry ice-cream was heavenly. Highly recommend and it's well worth booking in advance. We'll definitely be returning when we're back in the area. Thanks for a lovely evening.
Situated on a main road, you'd have no idea of that as you turn in. Atmospheric, rustic and charming. The staff were absolutely charming- attentive, knowledgeable and speedy. My partner had venison, which was delicious and I had Baked Hake- light and perfectly cooked. We couldn't resist the pigs in blanket, which were awesome- hand made by them. All covid precautions strongly dealt with. Totally recommend eating here, but do take an extra layer- I felt chilly.
Greatest food. All local, made by master chef’s staff are wonderful polite and always friendly, you can truly relax in here. On a side note, guys it’s Roger and Jen from down the road at the Roundhouse, did I see something that we can still get a Sunday roast, but by take a way, as we head into the second lockdown I would love to know that we could do this or not???? Thank you all again totally awesome place and recommend to everyone, this coming from a ex-chef. ( for whatever that’s worth!!!!) All the very best, stay safe, you guys all rock. Thank you. Friendly staff, good value gin. My wife's burger was lovely and the puddings were good. However, the \Cassoulet\ I ordered was not a cassoulet. It was just chicken on a bed of peas with a mayo like sauce. Was disappointed with that dish, sadly
