As a tourist I really liked this music store. The employee explained a lot of traditional instruments and took the time. I left with a good feeling.

Would give no stars if possible for poor treatment of a tourist. Do not support this store. I am a guitar player and ran With my wife to this store 20 min before closing to buy a traditional Portuguese Guitar before returning to the United States. The lady behind the counter did not look up to welcome us to the store and she did not offer help, she did not even look up to acknowledge our presence. She must have seen that I was looking for this style of instrument and offered no support. When I said hello, she asked a different young lady to help us since we did not speak Portuguese, we speak Spanish and English. As I am speaking to this second lady, the first one starts to comment in Portuguese and laugh to another employee and making fun that I am trying to negotiate price for the instrument, a carrying case, and a basic instruction book. I was prepared to spend at least 400 or more and this lady was making fun of me in Portuguese! Tourists stay away unless you speak Portuguese.
