My experience with the Lusa School was excellent. The class was well organized and managed. I came away from my first intensive with a better command of Portuguese as well as better comprehension. As someone who speaks Spanish, the teacher was able to guide me through the similarities and the differences smoothly. She also kept a good pace and kept all of us on track. I look forward to continuing my study with the Lusa School.

If you need to learn Portuguese, I suggest this school, I honestly could not recommend it more. I needed to improve my speaking skills for work and the A2A course helped me so much. I started to feel confident in speaking and learned so many verbs that I felt like I was always missing. 5/5 in every aspect. The communication between the person who is responsible for giving information is extremely quick, the whole team is professional, and its a great value for the quality of the material you get.

I really enjoyed my time as a student at Lusa Language. From the very beginning I felt taken care of as all my questions were answer promptly. On arrival I was greeted and felt immediately comfortable and ready to learn. The location was perfect and close to a cafe where I can grab a snack during our break. Our teacher Joana was extremely thoughtful as she took her time to unsure we understand the material. Thank you Lusa for everything!!

I really enjoyed the Lusa Language School in the heart of Lisbon. The school helped me to find a great accommodation 5 minutes away. The lessons were structured and the teachers very nice. I had a lot of fun learning with people from all over the world. I can warmly recommend the school.

My family and I live in San Francisco and I am Portuguese American and speak the language fluently but was having a hard time teaching my son. So my son spent the summer taking private twice a week classes from Lusa Language school, and it was awesome. The website is user friendly, they respond to emails quickly and are very friendly and professional! I can’t wait for my son to take more classes next summer. Next time we visit Lisbon I will defiantly make a stop at the school so I can meet all of the wonderful people there!!!! I highly recommend it and I personally found the school on Google.

I signed up for a couple of months' online classes with Lusa language school during the global shutdown of summer 2020. I found the online classes excellent value for money. I progressed from absolute beginner through to B2 level and worked with some dedicated and talented teachers who kept the classes engaging and fun, even in an online environment. The experience helped me a lot during lockdown by keeping a structure to my day. As a language teacher myself I found that there was an appropriate (but not overwhelming) focus on grammar and that the four skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing were all properly developed. I hope one day to be able to come to Lisbon and see Lusa School in person. Many thanks to all the staff. Dr Niall Kennedy Trinity College Dublin.

Since the very first contacts staff at Lusa School have been very professional and efficient. Due to the current international situation I opted for an online course and was positively surprised by the teacher. Teaching online to adults is not easy but she manages very well. For sure I wish to continue my studies with them, and I would recommend Lusa Language course to anybody interested in Portuguese language/ culture. Last but not least... I look forward to meeting up with them in person.
