Tiny hole in the wall just before you head up the stairs to the streets above. Get the ginja in the chocolate shell! Not only do you get two shots (one to try the liqueur on its own and one to try with the shell), it's really tasty! Makes climbing all the hills a lot easier :)

Our favorite ginginha stop. Nice balanced flavor. Not too sweet. Less cinnamon notes than A Ginginha. I like that they serve in glass and not plastic.
Does not taste like alcohol at all! The cherry liquor is sweet and very tasty! The chocolate cup gets refilled once you e had your shot as it’s a small container. Both were 3. Very easy to get to, right next to the station!

A city must. You can get your Ginginha, a Wisnia cherry liquor, anywhere in town but this one is the top. This tiny booth serves only Ginginha. One version as a shot. The other version is in small chocolate cups. Happy days.
Great experience that I had twice ! Local liquor that everyone should try at least once ! You can try with or without the fruits (1,4 the cup)
Good for quick shot of traditional Portugal liquor and go. They only have standing table, no toilet. Liquor tastes good!
