Good restaurant with good Bacalhau. You can hear the fado music sung by people that serve and prepare foods.
My husband was ill and he didn't want to go out for dinner. So I went out to get us some food. Supermarket didn't have much and the look of sardines had been calling for a while. I stumbled across this place and they were just so sweet. Inside i was the only one, I ordered takeaway and listened to the music as they prepared for the evening. Very sweet people especially the blond guy outside who helped me with any questions I had. They lady at the front was equally helpful and gave me extra lemon when I asked for it. Went home and the sardines were lovely. Very tasty with a nice BBQ taste to them.
Service is great and the fado is very relaxing!
Owner was lovely. Fado performers were excellent! Food and wine was delicious and reasonable compared to US prices.
Great place. Local artists without glamour. No additional payment for songs. Great food with big portions. Recommended
You can taste amazing sangria here home made and listen to sados.
