We wanted to witness a traditional Fado Vadio night for some time and our time n’A Baiuca far exceeded what we could expect. Due to Covid19, the Fado session was shared with the neighboring restaurant which made it so special and very intriguing - two competing restaurants supporting each other, for the love of Fado in uncertain times. We were fortunate enough to reserve a table only two days beforehand and stayed for several hours. The food was also very good and suited perfectly the atmosphere. The waitress was very engaging. It was beautiful and we were immediately longing for more. Is it Saudade?

Amazing place for Fado, in a very local place. Not to be missed to live the full local experience.

This was a really good experience. Having heard of all the questionable reviews of other places we were hoping this would be good. It was a great night. The food was fine. Well cooked given the tiny kitchen . But it's not about the food the fado was amazing.

This is an intimate Fado restaurant. On 18m2 there is seating for about 30 guests, so be prepared to sit next to a stranger. Bookings are essential if you don't want to miss a truly authentic Fado experience. Mostly fish dishes on the menu. I noticed some of the photos posted are not from A Baiuca so I have posted photos from both the interior and from the street.

Awesome experience. Real Fado experience. You better reserve or come around 19:30 to get a place. Alternatively, you can show up after 21:30 and you can get in and still enjoy close to 1.5 hours of performance. Is a performance not a place for have a meal so please keep on mind...no little children are admitted and it is expected, naturally, that you will be quiet listen to the performance

Beautiful humble spot of magic , delicious traditional Portuguese dishes with the Fado trills through the square outside and in the restaurant (on the weekend) to complement
