I was in quarantine and was craving for some hometown food. When I saw Lion City offering Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, etc, I didn't hesitate to try it. I ordered their Mee Goreng Beef to be deliver to my quarantine hotel. Wow, it was so good. It is different from the Mee Goreng I was used to but it taste delicious, it is spicy and flavorful. I definitely will come to try their other dishes after I completed my quarantine.

First thing I noticed was that the service was amazing. When we left we were even offered help ordering a taxi which can sometimes be tricky as a tourist. The ambiance of the restaurant was really elegant and calm. My boyfriend and I ordered prawn curry and mango chicken. Both dishes were out of this world. I think this was the best fried chicken I have ever had. The prices were a little higher for Vietnam because this is a higher end place, but definitely worth it. I would recommend people to go eat here and I would love to return if I have the chance.
Take it easy with meals from Lioncity restaurant. They have an available shipping meals services from these days.
For Cháo Ếch Singapore (Singapore Frog Congee) and Cua Sốt Ớt ( Chillies Crab), no question, only this place is the best in town (Saigon). I love the way they stew the frog and thickness of the congee, with a bit spicy stew sauce, they all combine together make me nonstop eating. About the crab, HUGE! About 1-1.2 kg each and Chillies Crab favor is the best choice for it. If you lazy to crack the crab, restaurant will take all meat out for you and all you do just dip the meat into the chillies sauce and enjoy. Actually, the name is chillies Crab, but the sauce is not too much spicy. You can eat with their home made fresh bread. Price: not cheap, but worth. 1.5 million VND per kg (70). 250 thousand VND per Frog (11).
I stumbled upon this place when I was wondering around Saigon last August, and was very impressed with the service, and the food. The crab, and sauce was outstanding. Turned out to be one of the best places I dined at while in Saigon, defiantly worth a visit, and I look forward to going back again sometime.
Dine here a couple of times over the last few years [and once at their Super Bowl branch (already closed)]. Although a little pricy, will continue to patronise once a while. Their frog porridge tasted very close to the very famous one in Geylang Singapore. Their other dishes are probably one of the best you can get outside of Singapore.
Hidden price showed up when a bill requested. Even if chilli crab was on 50%sale, tax was added upon 100%price. That made me feel more expensive than I expected. Although considering relative price index of Vietnam, it's still expensive. Service is just fine.
Food was good. It's an authentic Singapore cuisine restaurant but most ppl come here for the frog leg porridge
