provis | process visualization is rated 3 out of 5 in the category computer software. Read and write reviews about provis | process visualization. provis process visualization was founded by Dr. Gijsbert Wierink in 2014, providing computational modelling and analysis of complex process flows. Computational modelling, e.g. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), gives us the opportunity to look inside a process and visualize the key control mechanisms. Seeing and learning one has great chances to optimize existing processes and create new ones. These processes range from primary and secondary resource engineering to heat exchangers, to household appliances, to environmental flows. provis is based out of Linz, one of the major industrial centres in Austria. For the past five years I have been working professionally in the field of computational modelling. Before starting my career as a modelling consultant and trainer my studies included computational modelling of resource systems. My background in resource engineering gives me a solid understanding of complex flow problems, as well as a grounding in applied engineering. The modelling tools that I am working with today and in the past have always revolved around open source software. The freedom to create, implement, and simulate any problem is what attracts me most to open source software. My experience includes OpenFOAM, Elmer, AMPL, octave/Matlab, R, shell scripting, C++, python, linux and much more. Our main purpose is to add value by helping people and organizations develop skills and tools to innovate. We aim to make these skills and tools more efficient and to integrate these tools in an existing workflow. provis process visualization works with an international team of experts with experience in the field of mining, petroleum engineering, recycling, sustainable design, civil engineering and chemical engineering.
