Very good food and lovely hosts. Awesome pies. Nice and chill place to eat dinner or breakfast and to listen some live piano music, if you're lucky.

Great coffee and an exceptionally tasty breakfast for very reasonable price. With selection of delicious ham (obviously from some local provider), sweet fresh juice, great and very kind service.. Combined with the interiour style you I felt like in a living room. Great place, can recommend - will definitely visit them again..
Depending on who you are one of the owners might firmly ask you to not use your electronic devices. He can even try to lecture the public, in your expense, how a cafe is for socializing. I didn't get schooled, but they did ask someone else to stop in my sight. I was also checking my phone openly here and there. Other than that, they roast their own coffee next doors, their food, drinks, and deserts are great. All the employees are great, one of the owners is self-righteous and stiff about no electronics. After all, even with his presence, being at Meier would be a five star experience. Don't go there with a laptop in hopes of getting a coffee and working on a project. :) walk another 100 steps and go to Gerberei for that. That's another 5 star establishment.
Super Service
Went there around 8 o'clock a.m. on a thursday for a business meeting. After taking out our notebooks (because it was a business meeting) we were asked to leave or put away our stuff after we ordered coffee because they have a no phone and no notebook policy. At this time there was no sign or hint, wheter on the outside nor in the café itself, for such a rule. We left and went to another coffee shop.
