Nice selection of beer but it's a 'mans' pub. Could be made alot nicer, has potential for cocktails and even nice gin glasses. We always come when visiting from Liverpool. Lovely outdoor seating area ️

Good beers and lager staff friendly and serve you very quickly. Only problem on Sunday tea time they ran out off glasses. But quickly started serving again.

If you are looking for pub to chill out in, no music, no TV and not one distraction from the finish you're in, the Linny fits the bill brilliantly. Well worth a visit. Good beers great prices.

It's the Linny, Boro institution. It might not have music (& look a wee bit run down being honest) but on a sunny day here it's the best pub to be at. Huge grassy area outside to sit on plus the benches give it a bit of a festival feeling in the sun as folk chill all over as good vibes flow all round. Long as you can handle Sammy Smith's brew you'll not find a better pub when it's sunny. All about the grass to sit on, love sunny daze here
