The amazingly possitive experince I had at this church is more than I could ever express. When I most needed a strong, Bible -filled Word, this church was the place the delivered. It helped to ground me and provided a warm, family environment that truly changed my life forever (it may sound corny, but it's true!). I have since moved out of the state, but my heart still remembers Primera Iglesia Pentecostal in Linden, NJ. It has always been warm and welcoming, especially for families raising kids. They have youth/teenage activities (get-togethers, camping, services, conventions) and children's programs (several!), along with a boy's scouting troop and Sunday school for all ages. The music ministry is AWESOME -as a musician myself, I can say these guys are good! To hear music being played here is worth the visit alone! Some of the best Spanish and English Christian music I've heard has been here! I know these musicians are often asked to play at concerts and I know the reason why! The musicians have really studied and they play the new as well as classical hymns, 'oldies style -in Spanish and English! The church has made an amazing effort to provide the Word of God in Spanish as well as English. They have translators and a translation system during the services that is really awesome, translating the services for all ages. They also have a complete 4 year Bible Institute for those interested in learning the Word, well beyond the Sunday school level. I can't say enough about this church! It's the place I always seek out when I visit NJ. It'll forever be my 'home church'.
