Lovely place for a stroll with the family. Great for little ones, lots of lovely trees and nooks to hide and play amongst. Free parking too, except for Tuesdays. :)

Beautiful, well kept public garden with free entry. After passing the gates for many years, we decided on a lovely Bank Holiday Monday we'd pop in for a look on our way back to the car park. We were amazed at how well kept the public gardens are and how big it was. Excellent for a picnic or catching up on your reading under the shade of the many beautiful trees there. Shame we didn't discover it years before.
Always a delight to visit these gardens, set on the edge of town next to the car park, which is free to use apart from Tuesdays (market day). Gardens are maintained by volunteers and is a relaxing spot for lunch or picnic with the family, nice communal area. Lovely walk in the Castle Meadows, down to the River Usk adjacent to Linda Vista.
Lovely grounds to walk around, peaceful and quiet. Nice play area for the kids, free admission, great for photography
