Very poor value strawberries - way, way too expensive at 3.52 per kilo. This is actually more than the English strawberries at Waitrose, which are ready picked and excellent quality. And Waitrose are hardly the cheapest, so they're probably even cheaper elsewhere! Very profitable for the farmer, with no labour costs and selling at a far higher price than anyone else would pay, but why would you waste your time and actually pay more?
