From New Zealand I placed an order on line with Majestic Wines in Lincoln, Details of the recipient's name and address was provided and the order charged to my Visa card. This was a gift for a special birthday occasion and yet never delivered. After contacting Majestic Wines and numerous further emails between them and myself (in New Zealand) they have now advised they cannot/will not refund my payment. (Their system does not appear to be able to trace back from the payment received by them from me to identify the authorisation at their end. I find this totally unacceptable and would like other potential customers to be aware of this. (Curiously at about the same time I placed another order through their York branch and this was delivered in accordance with the details provided. BE WARNED. Graeme Leary' Clevedon, New Zealand

Went in as Wuntu have some really good offers for Majestic Wines. Spoke to 'Wine Guru Joe' who recommended a few wines upon his recommendation and tried them in store. He definitely knows his wines and happily left with six! Great experience, some stuff is a little pricey but I guess that's the same with anywhere. Great customer service too, pleasant experience!
