My wife and I supper here and were thoroughly pleased. We started off with the Classic Bruschetta which was good. Our main courses were the Blade of Beef and the Chicken & Chorizo Paella; both were flavorful and filling. I did order a side of Olives, but to my surprise they were quite spicy with peppers. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was outstanding. We will be returning.

Lovely meal we both had pasta service very polite and friendly c19 procedure very well carried out apart from........ a young lady who apparently thought it was fine to come through the cafe with no mask on and a \cocky attitude \with just her grey coat belt over her mouth who we were later told was the manager!!! hence only three stars given

Visited for my husband's 40th birthday. Staff couldn't do enough for our party of 12. Fab food and at 12.95 for a starter and a main it was great value. Good portion size, roast beef dinner was devoured by my fussy 5yo. Everyone had clean plates! Definitely recommend.

Went for lunch today with my husband after being a frequent visitor to this place in the past and we were disappointed with the quality of food & portion sizes. The starters were average: Brie and Chicken liver pate with bread, but there wasn’t much of either. I get they’re starters but they are much smaller in size than 3 years ago. The mains consisted of spaghetti carbonara which was cold and was sent back as were my husbands chips. The Cafe Zoot burger was good with 2 x 5oz burgers but you pay extra for cheese which I didn’t expect to pay when a burger is 12. You expect to pay a premium for food in the Bailgate but We won’t be coming back here anytime soon. The staff were very helpful and were very attentive.
