Overall it was excellent, can't complain for a family dinner. Steaks done spot on. Potatoes weren't great, lobster bit too much seasoning. Sticky toffee dessert for a great finish.

After a break of nearly two years I returned to Browns with hesitation. Could it maintain the previous experiences. The answer was a resounding, yes! If anything the food and service was better than I remember. And best of all two courses and a bottle of wine for two at just over 30 a head. Book ahead if visiting Lincoln as it isn’t one to miss.

Really tasty pies - had the beef and the winter special turkey and cranberry. Just not the friendliest service. I asked for an extra tray to put some chips in for my 3 year old and was told they didn't have any spares. Also wasn't allowed for her to use the toilet either.

Got a Chicken, Leek and Mushroom pie to go. Fast service and really loved how they included the cooking instructions in the packaging. One of the best pies I have ever had! Will be returning!

The meal was amazing. We shared the surf and turf starter which was excellent. I had the duo of venison and it was beautiful. The real was spot on as well. The wife had a chicken and leek pie shortcrust pastry and it looked lovely. I would recommend this place.
