Thankfully we didn't wait so long (10 min - Sunday night). After that, they served us quickly and it was delicious, even though I'm not into soups, I found it great!

Best soup I ever had. I was born in Peru and work in restaurants in the States . I have been working in restaurants for 10 years and fine dining for 3. I came here 3 days during my 10 days in Lima . Must go .

Soup is great. Beware on Sunday nights they stop seating at a certain time at night so not 24 hours for dining in Sunday nights. We had to get it to go only. Other nights like Saturday seating was all night.

I have mixed feelings about their name, it's called 7 soups, they have 9 and serve 3 per day (Caldo de gallina, Criolla and 01 soup of the day). You can't try them all unless you go every single day of the week. The rest of the menu are main dishes it felt like a regular restaurant which serves soup rather than a soup restaurant like the name suggests (IMO). That being said, there is complementary bread and everything we ordered was delicious and tasty no doubt. They have different sizes for the soup too. The waiter was very friendly, the decor was great and the waiting line wasn't bad.

Very popular place among locals! We got there at 5:30, which was perfect as there were still many empty tables and we got a booth. However, when we left at 7:30 there was a huge crowd waiting outside, which is the case any day of the week. The wait is easily an hour long if you get there past 7! As for the food, it’s fantastic. Every day they serve caldo de gallina and sopa criolla. The sopa criolla is rich and very milky - delicious! On Wednesdays the soup of the day is aguadito. Their other dishes, such as the chaufa and lomo saltado, are also very good, as is their chicha!
