Probably the best duck in Lille. Also the staff was very friendly and they knew english which is a rarity in France.
Tasty food and great service. Only downside is the greasy floors and flies. Would recommend to takeaway and eat in a different environment.
Taste is there. No disappointment in that area. Delicious but tiny burger though. Duck steak homogeneously well cooked (pink), even in rush hours. Don't forget to bring your own cutlery : most likely the duck will cut through the cellulose fork than the other way around. Don't come at noon, service is very slow and the tension is felt in the kitchen. Fries could be SO much better...
Walked in because it looks so cool from the outside. Immediately realized we didn't have enough French to understand what this was. The staff were so polite explaining everything and making suggestions. Very patient. We ended up with the Croustillants De Magret De Canard Haché - Coeur de Saint-Nectaire, which is duck confit meatballs with cheese in the middle and rolled in breadcrumbs and fried. We also had the dark duck meat. Both with wedges. SO GOOD. The best and coolest meal I had in France. It gets very busy! We just missed the crowd.
Where else to find out something like this? it is a place worth to try. The service is fast and friendly. Take your time to understand the options, they are quite attractive. I did not enjoy too much the wedges, but they are not bad.
surprisingly delicious fast food that consists of everything duck. try the fantastic duck burger and order your IPA on the side for a cheap feast!
