If you have to choose one restaurant to visit in Ayrshire, visit here. 5 star food, service, and ambiance for a reasonable price. My wife and I came here for a celebratory dinner having never been, but having visited Lido's sister restaurant in Prestwick. We were greeted and seated by a friendly gentleman before being seen to by our waitress. A lovely woman who I unfortunately didn't get the name of (Nikki maybe, as I think she had a necklace that read that). She was very friendly and gave us plenty of time to choose and order. The menu was so extensive and tasty looking that even my wife (who is quite a picky eater) had trouble deciding between different items. I admit I had trouble too. Our waitress helped me pick my main which was the Rosemary half Chicken, and what a choice it was. All the food came out in good time, looked freshly made, and tasted absolutely amazing. We could not fault a single thing. You can see from the pictures how great everything looked. The service remained great throughout our visit and the staff all looked happy to be there. I went to the bathroom before leaving and they were spotless, and looked newly done out too. We seriously could not fault a thing about this restaurant. Seriously, everyone should experience it. Recommend you book though as it was very popular.

Like most Buzzworks places recently I've not been overly impressed with Lido Troon. I appreciate we're in the middle of a pandemic, however, I feel like the attention to detail that was once there has gone. I don't know if it's because of reduced staffing levels but even the basics of taking a drinks order as you sit down seems to have been completely forgotten about in recent times. The food is fine, but that's it, it's just fine.
We visited Lido to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and, having been to other Buzzworks venues, knew that we would get a lovely meal in beautifully stylish surroundings and we were not disappointed. We were greeted pleasantly at the front desk by a member of staff wearing PPE who asked us to sanitise our hands before leading us to our table which was well spaced from the others around us. The food was fantastic. I had the Lamb Kofta with chips and my girlfriend had chicken sizzler. The chips were perfectly cooked, being light and fluffy inside, and beautifully seasoned but the desserts stole the show. The chocolate filled doughnut balls with hazelnut dipping sauce were amazing and the cookie dough skillet was so good too. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Fab place! Especially on a wet & windy day! It is really cosy inside. Fab seating and decor, really contemporary. Service was fantastic. Food & drinks were spot on. We would definitely recommend and we revisit ourselves when back in Troon.
Wonderful staff & food, miss having our trips to Lido. Will be back as soon as possible ️
