Customer in front of me had a lanyard yet between him and his wife (who wore a mask) it was lanyard man who was the one running back down the aisles for things they'd forgotten. Makes zero sense there. Saw a lot of staff noses too, must be mouth breathers. Simple rules really. Big comparison to other supermarkets where staff will help customers to keep safe.

This store has gone downhill over the year we have been shopping, the store itself looks like a jumble sale with products just thrown all over the place, it has a scruffy feel and the staff give off the impression that they don't care, they are rude and seem to treat the place as more of a meeting room than a place of work and can be intimidating, the food is mediocre at best and not rotated very often I.e rotten veg and fruit, green bacon (in date that made me ill) brown mince ect, the baked goods are never covered and I've noticed people just use there hands to pick things up and on occasion there have been flies over them (see picture), I recently bought chicken legs which were still in date but when opened gave off a putrid smell which was a waste of money because they went straight in the bin, overall this is a very bad shopping experience and something needs to be done because this is not good business practice. Sometimes every lidl doesn't help!!!! Edit:this week had chicken twice which opened was slimey and smelt putrid but both packs had two days still left on them, went into lidl today and looking at the meat it all looks putrid with brown mince when it should be red, the fridges look like they have never been cleaned and after checking the temperature its nowhere near cold enough to store meat also bought bread which while in date is stale and dry, do not know what's going on in this store but think we will be swapping to Asda just up the road where as other people here have pointed out have a grip on covid and insist u wear masks, poor show lidl very poor

One of the only stores where they don't seem to be checking on face masks. Woman went in with her children swearing and screaming at the children no face mask no respect for peoples space. Safe to say until all this is over I won't be shopping there again

Love Lidl, always a surprise around the corner. Loads of vegetarian options, and good specials on Ben Bracken! Love it.

This humble town is not what it used to be. We remember when it was naught but a barrage of fields. A barrage much like that of artillery, something they didn’t have back when we had that titanic clash. Poor Harold. We never wanted to have to guide him so early. McDonald's Plymouth New George St 2
