Beckenham LIDL. Great Happy to help staff. Good prices compared with larger supermarket chains. Their meat selection is very good. Beef cuts always excellent.

There wasn't a lot of people in the shop. The Iles were wide enough. But when going to to the checkout there was a big line waiting to pay. Only one til was open. There was self service and someone to help, but when going to use this service I was told that the space wasn't wide enough for the trolley, Which doesn't make any sense. Also this shop hasn't got a public toilet. Surely with such a big shop they should be made to provide a public toilet.
What would we do without Lidl. Unfortunately there is not one in Bromley, however I travel 20 minutes on the bus to save loads of money. I do my entire weekly shopping for under 40 a month. Makes tesco and Sainsbury look way over priced for the same quality products. Dont bother going after noon though, as they seem to be cleaned out of stock in the morning, and then you are left to buy the scraps.
One if my favourite supermarkets great choice and good value.
