Easy to use, food is mainly fresh and prices are good. There is also a variety of vegetarian option for the festive season. Sometimes there's a shortage of basic products.

Hmmm what to say what to say, supermarkets are a tough market and my 29 years of experience going in them and going out of them has given me a keen eye for detail on what makes a supermarket a cut above the bog standard Tesco. This Lidl is very much middle of the pack better than a co-op, bit falling short of an Aldi, and quite far below the heady heights of a Waitrose or m&s.
