Went in to buy some bulbs. They only had 2 of the kind I needed (1 of them had packaging torn open) and the queues were 4 to 5 people per lane with only 2 lanes open. The store itself was clean, otherwise well stocked and the staff were friendly.

This place has really gone downhill in the last few months, in my opinion. There's NEVER any lactose free semi-skimmed milk anymore, whatever time of day or night I go, and this always used to be my best place to buy it. To be honest, I've stopped going there now to even try, as 3 or 4 visits a week for 6 or more weeks always ended up fruitless and it's far easier to go to Tesco and pay their higher price for it in the first place, as I always have to go there for it in the end anyway!
Great food and selection of grocery Fruit and vegetables are always good. Wine and beer always good variety . Closed for a huge redevelopment Till December 6th. Plan you visit as it's closed. Aldi will be very busy.
