I happen to think that this configuration of store, is by far the best for lockdown situation, I think it could possibly have a little more isle space, not much more though, products have a mix of pricing strategy, and lower end very competitive in terms of pricing. The till staff are courteous, efficient and task oriented. This store is very well positioned and set out, and could also have a selection of ready meals too. I am quite glad that they don't advertise much and seem to concentrate on a low level advertising strategy. Well done.

As we all know the best value for money in town. I was blown away by their customer service today though. I had no change to release a trolly (its a pound to release one and you get a refund once you return it). I asked a member of staff who promptly took a pound out of his own pocket and gave me one. He explained that he was about to finish his shift and not worry about paying it back..... Amazing! Not only outstanding value but a outstanding experience. Thank that member of staff and thank you Lidl!

I had to go twice to the shop because you sell tool without battery, went back to buy the battery and when I went to the car find out that you selling the wrong battery for that tool, so they give me refund, The point is this in not the first time! From now I will be very carefully before buy any tool from your shop, But please stop selling power tools without supply it with battery makes absolutely no sense! Regards.

Olibranch O'Hara de Dog

So much more value than other supermarkets. Almost makes living in the UK affordable :) Great for staples like olive oil and natural yoghurt. Tinned goods seem to be of an equal quality at two thirds of the price of their competitors. Fresh vegetables and herbs also of high quality and at a sensible price. Their wine selection is particularly rewarding, especially if you're not blindly following the Pinot Grigio/Sauvignon Blanc Trend. Check out the Old World Bordeauxs for a 4 bargain, or for something fruitier a decent Riesling for half the price of a comparable Gewürztraminer. Great for the occasional impulsive purchasing of oddities too, should you be drawn to snowshoes or astronaut suits. Sometimes the queues can be a little long, but it's a small price to pay for the money you'll save.
