I am a great fan of Lidl stores but our recent visit was awful. In the time of Covid, there was no control on the number of people in the store. It was crowded. Some customers were not wearing masks or social distancing. It was all a bit of a free for all! Shame as it is usually a great shop with good prices.

My favourite store. Good value and quality. I love the aisle in the middle for seasonal bargains. This Lidl has self service checkout with really helpful staff. Always parking available.

Bread, cakes, etc, counter totally unprotected.. Anybody could go too near and breath over them... No clean bags to put cakes etc, in... No serving tongs.. In Europe extra hygienic measures applied by Lidl . All cakes etc protected by plastic dividers etc..British tolerate all these . So why bother? ...

Was there Sunday today 7.2.21..no security on entrance monitoring mask wearing ,saw at least 4 people in there without masks. When speaking to security on way out got a load of excuses why not monitoring mask wearers. NO SOCIAL DISTANCING WHAT SO EVER There .Will not be shopping there again! Too dangerous

I don't usually write reviews but felt I had to with this store... I've been shopping here for the last year or so, and the quality of the fruit, veg and fresh products is abysmal. Quite often, packs of salad/spinach and herbs start to wilt and turn brown after 2 days of purchasing. I've bought a pack of cherry tomatoes, got home and found mould on them! Even though the sell-by date says 5 days later. I had some fish cakes in the fridge after a couple of days smelt so bad I felt sick and I had to chuck them out. Such a waste. I wouldn't be surprised if they are breaking some food hygiene/standards laws selling food of this low standard. This needs to change. With how much waste there is these days, this is really immoral. No matter how cheap it is, it shouldn't go bad after such a short time. Please sort this out!
