I am in my 70's and therefore nervous about being in crowded places. As my recent visits to Grantham store have been stressful I thought I would go early today when it would hopefully be quiet. Arriving at just after 8o'clock I found staff filling from large trollies, empty shelves and some inconsiderate staff who seemed unaware that we are in a deadly pandemic. As a result I was unable to get many items on my list and felt it was a waste of time and very upsetting. Why can the filling up not be done while the store is closed to keep the aisles clear even if it means opening half an hour later. Surely you are making enough profits at this time to put the customers first.

Love love love Lidl. Missing a star because of the lack of consideration for older people when going through the till. I wasn't even packing, and the articles were nearly falling off the counter, before I could put them back in the trolley. When I lived in Germany, the till operator used to repack for us. I know speed is of the essence, and its Christmas, but I might do online with Morrisons next time.
