This was the large store in Helston. There was little distancing and it took longer to find items. My shopping experience meant I didnt get items I needed.

Good range of very fresh fruit & vegetables, including Organic. Love their range if foods u can't buy in other supermarket chains. Always good 2 look out 4 their great top of the range bargains, from vacuum cleaners, kitchen electrics, power tools, clothing to Toys, changing regularly. Very friendly helpful staff.

The store is reasonably well presented and the staff are always friendly and helpful . Recently I have noticed that the checkout areas have been untidy on more than one of my visits, mainly due to debris of crumbs etc gathering in and around the plastic guards on the checkouts. In my opinion these are more than what would have accumulated through a day so I would suggest that the checkout areas are not cleaned daily or proficiently, which is a shame and also a concern given the current situation with covid. It is also not a particularly pleasant viewpoint as you are being served. In general the prices and quality of everything is very good, the bakery items are amongst the best in comparison to other supermarkets \baked in store\ offerings. The middle of the store is occupied by non food items which rotate every so often and includes sporting goods, toys, clothing, tools and many other items. In general, the prices of these items tends to be very reasonable and I must say that after years of buying tools from Lidl, I have never been let down by the quality or longevity of them. Lidl is a good store with a good selection of products and interesting offers. Had it not been for my slight disappointment regarding the checkouts I would have rated this store a solid 4 stars.

Although all the bread was gone, there were pallet loads of toilet rolls and some wag had put a pile of diorhea tablets next to them.
