Very friendly place. Warm welcome from staff. Service was efficient and with a simile. Food is very high standard and reflects in the price. Good selection of drink. Clean and modern pub. Nothing to complain about! Don't we surprised if you come out to a dented car tho as locals doesn't seem to know how to park! Would love to return again...

Can't thank the guys at the Plough enough! Our planned wedding was reduced due to COVID and we scrambled to sort something out for the after ceremony event. The Plough was able to fit our 24 guests in, safely distanced, and really made it special. The food was great and nothing was too much trouble. If you're looking for a place to host a family party or even a wedding, I'd highly recommend the Plough.

Honestly this was probably one of the most disappointing meals out I have had. The pub looked lovely and service at the bar was swift. In the dining area we were seated and given a flimsy piece of dirty paper which was supposedly a special Saturday menu. Nothing special about it. You can see from the photos that the food was appalling. Weird, cheap frozen ingredients all overcooked. Service was equally poor which given there was plenty of staff on was disappointing. No wonder it was mostly empty on a Saturday night. Cant see it surviving much longer unless it improves drastically.

We booked The Plough at Shenstone for Christmas lunch on a Friday. We ordered parsnip soup and Thai fish cakes to start with followed by the beef and Yorkshire pudding and we finished with the sticky toffee pudding. I have to say the food was absolutely delicious. The beef melted in my mouth, the mash was creamy and very tasty. Everything was lovely presented and the main was massive. Service was excellent. The only downside was the could temperature which is a shame. Such lovely resturant , spoilt by the cold temperature. That's the only reason I haven't given 5 stars. I am hopeful this will change in future.
