Got the chicken with vegetables lunch special. I enjoyed the food, all quite good. Recommend a try if you're in area.

Edited: lowering from 4 stars to 2 stars after a horrible experience with delivery. An order took 2 hours to be delivered, when called during that time to ask about the order status I was put on hold for many minutes. When the order finally arrived it was missing one main item, and the food was barely edible. Will not try again! Close to the minute man bike path . The mango shrimp, noodles, lamb in cumin were fantastic! We didn’t like the wings. Recommend the Taiwanese specialties. During COVID we were able to sit outside which is nice
I haven't dined here for about a year. When I came back last week, the protocol Taipei Gourmet set up during the pandemic is phenomenal. The waitress and the owner both wore masks all the time. Our table was set up with a clean table cloth they pulled out from their drawer while seating us. Only certain tables could be used to maintain social distance. There was also a couple of outdoor seating. The owner left both front and side doors open, so there was natural air circulation indoor. The foods were served within 10 minutes after making the order. They were hot and fresh, though some items did not show much authenticity. I will still go back again.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I thought it was going to be ok but it was much better than expected. The atmosphere is light and bright and simple. The food was GOOD. I am always pleasantly surprised when I go have Chinese and the meat isn't chewy. It is not chewy here. You can also drink beer and/or wine which I also think is nice. If they made a real effort at making their little patio pretty and manicured they would get a lot more business as there is minimal outdoor seating in the area.
This spot never disappoints. They serve good dishes for reasonable pricing, there are no long waits even when they are packed.
