A very interesting detail account of a very creative writer. The garden is beautiful and all the staff are friendly and answer all questions with detail. I will be visiting the monk house again especially as it's in the charming village Rodmell.

Virginia Woolf’s house and garden (with her writing shed) that is an absolute must to see. So much history, beautiful objects everywhere, the whole place reminiscent of Claude Monet’s famous property in Giverny, though on a much smaller scale. Parking close by, a small shop on the way and the whole village truly stunning. Apparently Virginia and Leonard called this place ‘a mutt that stole our hearts’ and you can see why when you’re there.

Stunning garden and house, so well kept and happily situated just outside Lewes! Definitely worth a visit, especially on a warm day.

Very, very friendly guides (volunteers), they explain nearly everything. Beautiful garden!!

Very nice. Spend about half an hour to an hour. Lovely garden. Room for a picnic if you want one.
