Was excited to place an order on some very cool products from Animaux Spéciaux for a birthday gift for my wife. Originally placed an order on 19 January 2020, received a shipment tracking code on 23 January. Order was not received in time for the birthday so i sent a follow up email as the tracking information indicated the parcel had not been received by the courier. This is when i was told that 2 of the products were out of stock and they were awaiting delivery (I don't know why this was not advised when the order was received). Fast forward to today, 11 February, I have no answer on a timeline to receive my order and i have no answer to my request to cancel the order and be refunded, sent on 9 February. Although the products look nice, it is not worth the hassle of dealing with a company who does not care to respond to their customers.

I've been to the shop a few times, and I went here today thinking 'if anywhere has what I need, it's here!' (and I did indeed find it!). The stationery is unique, the home deco and accessories are rarely seen at other shops in Leuven, so it's really nice to find such cool items here. The owner is also very knowledgable about everything in the shop (I bought a plant today and he knew the care instructions), is clearly passionate about what he does, and is a very kind person. Even if taxidermy isn't for you, there's so much to see and enjoy here-- a magical place to bring the beauty of the natural world into your home. Dikke mercikes, Animaux Speciaux!

Zaligste shop ever
3 gouden plantdiertjes gekocht bij Animaux. De levertijd was ruim 2 weken. De diertjes zijn van het dunste metaal, en zijn geen 8,95 waard. Het pootje van 1 van de diertjes brak af bij het ophangen. De andere pootjes zien er ook zeer kwetsbaar uit. De verkoper biedt geen garantie.
