Excellent Ramen, if you are lucky and talk with the lady who cooks the soup. The owner(lady) she doesn’t know what a customer service means, very rude, demanding and she loves to use the word “I don’t care”, when you are making your order; nowadays you must have appreciated your customer more than ever. I edited my review just to answer you dear. It takes a great person to accept a mistake, only an ignorant deny it. you know you said that and you know you were very rude; and the best part is, you remember the kindness of my husband and my answered to you because you mention the macaroons. Hopefully people will read this review and understand what it is about it. I'm not the only one who complaint about your poor customer service; and dear, your employee Mariel was the one who prepared the soup for us, and it's very good that you recovered your memory and now know what Creamy means. We wish you all the best!

Fresh, healthy food in a unique atmosphere.
Put simply, this is not good food, and this was not a good price. Quite possibly the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. While I cannot speak for their other food, this was 100% in-authentic Vietnamese food that wasn't even good, at a high price. To start, I ordered Salad Spring rolls and a Beef Sub. I decided to add Shrimp to the Salad Spring rolls since there were no Shrimp Salad Spring roll option. The Salad Roll was 8. That is already quite expensive for Salad rolls. My order was 9 to include Shrimp. Normally at Vietnamese places, it's about 4 for 4 rolls. I was shocked to find I had ONLY HAD 3 ROLLS..... Not only does that I mean I ended up paying 3 per Roll, it was filled with MANY carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, and WHITE ONIONS (????????). To top it off, it only had ONE. SHRIMP in the roll. It was ONE SHRIMP, sliced in half in the roll. It was not good, not authentic, and not worth it. Onto the sub. While the umami sauce was decent, the sub was not. The sub was about 80% Carrots and 10% bread. I ate about 50% of the sub before I was able to taste any meat and I had to SPIT IT OUT. The meat was NOT hewable and indigestible. I opened the sub to find there were about 2 pieces of meat. I had no choice but to trash the rest of the sub. In summary, this was NOT worth the price, and not worth eating. Would NOT recommend this place for Viet food at all.
I went to Umami shop about a month ago, searching for ingredients for hot and sour soup. Lots of items on shelves were expired. When I went up to the til and asked the owner if there was any non expired packages of what I was looking for, he said no. I felt that him and his wife did not care, as they did not offer to reorder the product or a genuine apology. I’ve been to the Asian Supermarket before and have received better customer service there, as well have noticed less expired products than at Umami. Please check the expiry dates of products if you’re shopping at Umami shop!
Super fresh flavours all around. A great place for lunch with a diverse and interesting menu.
