The service, the staff, the food is absolutely amazing! Got take out food ready when promised. This place is such a gem. Only true Chinese food here! Defiantly worth it. Everything tastes top notch 100 percent!
Ginger beef was on the dry side, and sweet and sour pork was very lightly sauced. I prefer them with more.
I have been a faithful customer from this place for over a year now, they always had the full menu available as all you can eat and they brought the food to you. Now they have a buffet, mostly of the good thing that I used to eat are not available and they still charge 25 dollars for almost nothing!! I'm so disappointed of this place.
Strangley I was worried about finding a good Chinese restaurant as I've been so disappointed until I found this place!!!! Honestly if I lived closer I would eat here 2 or 3 times a week. Some of the freshest food I've ever had and they know how to use the ingredients to perfection!!! My wife is still talking about us needing to go back!! Sadly I'm over 1800km away! Next time through I will be there for sure and by judging the amount of orders going to take out I seen there going to still be there as the locals know it's amazing!!!!
My friend and I went in a couple weekends ago and were pleasantly surprised. With the negative reviews, online, we were skeptical but went anyway. Okay, the server didn't check on us many times, which I actually liked. If you like being waited on, hand and foot, maybe this isn't the right place for you. She sat us in our own little section, away from anyone else, and it was nice and quiet. The food was actually incredible (sweet and sour chicken, ginger beef, chicken fried rice, Hong Kong bowl [I didn't eat any of this due to the shrimp], spring rolls, and even a side of fries [that's right]). They use the really good Costco fries!!! There was so much food that after we were done eating, it didn't look like we started. Great to have lots of leftovers. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere... and the fishies!!!!
Ordered takeout and was expecting twice as much per dish as was given. Usually, Chinese food restaurants give the individual dishes in those large circular foil containers, which is what we had thought we were getting. Instead, they came in smaller rectangular plastic containers which do not hold as much. Nor do they hold in the heat as well either, because the food could certainly have been warmer. The quality of the food was strange. Visually, it looked appealing, but half of the items were sauceless and dry (not great when you wanted ginger beef), and the parts that had sauce were soggy. The meat itself was overdone and tough to chew. In terms of flavour, it could have been better. As of writing this, my stomach feels uneasy. The food is not sitting right. Based on reviews, I had high hopes for this place, but it did not live up to my expectations. I won't be ordering from here again. It's too expensive and the results are not worth the money.
I ordered dinner for delivery, was told 50mins-1hr. After 2hrs I tried to get ahold of them and could not get through or a call back after leaving a message. Edit: food eventually arrived and tasted good but still not impressed about wait times
