We went there to taste the traditional dish la matelote : dish with 5 fishes from the river next to the village. The dish was excellent and the waitress/owner was very kind and helpful :) But the desserts were expensive for the quantity and I regretted taking one :/ So with two dishes, one bottle of wine and two desserts, you can count around 100 euros. Go for the matelote but skip the dessert there ;)

With the family's hospitality and service from large heart Barbara you will enjoy what I believe is the best Matelote fish stew in Alsace, from where it originates. Eat huge.. Then in local tradition they bring the SECOND half of the same meal! Common in southern Germany to do that too. Very hearty matelote as it was on a wet autumn night circa 2008 when we visited. Glad venue is still there and deserves far more of a mention online! We hope to be back to write an update!

la première fois que je suis venu ici c'était en 1994 le restaurant était tenu par une très sympathique dame pas très loin de la retraite nous avons séjourné dans son hotel 3 ou quatre jours (à l'époque ils faisaient hotel ) depuis nous revenons régulièrement pour manger la matelote et je peux dire que la succession est très réussie
Matelote excellente, tout comme carpes frites! Joli cadre , le respect des gestes barrières est assuré et le sourire présent même derrière le masque
Eine wirklich ausgezeichnete Empfehlung für jeden, der Fisch mag. Die Räume sind sehr gediegen, der Service schnell und freundlich und der Fisch war ein richtiger Traum. Vor oder nach dem Essen lässt sich die wirklich sehr schöne. Kirchenanlage besichtigen und ergänzt das Geschmackserlebnis mit einem optischen Hochgenuss.
