During our holiday in the Cognac area, we visited this restaurant twice. On each occasion we were warmly welcomed by the owners and taken through the menu which has three choices per course. Everything is freshly prepared, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. You can decide whether you prefer two or three courses; three courses is amazing value at 18 euros. Simple yet delicious, hearty food with excellent service: well worth a visit.
We went to this restaurant twice during our holiday and it was great both times. Really good food and such a nice welcome wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone staying in the area. The owners really go out of their way to make each visit a great experience.
Les Copains d'Abord in noted for it's superb Menu du Jour, it doesn't do anything else, just three choices of starter, main course and dessert all cooked to perfection and at a very good price. Always something I really like on the menu, good simple food served with care. We had a very friendly welcome, they speak enough English for us to feel comfortable and enjoy our visit. Will come again.
Quel accueil et quelle cuisine ! Duo performant ! Suis Bluffée ! Vraiment bravo à vous, je me suis régalée de votre velouté de chou-fleur... Une tuerie et le reste superbe ! Petit apéritif cocktail très sympa ... Endroit convivial à souhait !

Produits frais Restaurant chaleureux Personnel accueillant malheureusement nuancé par des cuissons non exhaustives Les enfants ont été déçus de ne pas avoir de Mayo pour accompagner le plat. En pleine canicule choix entre place au soleil ou intérieur non climatisé donc en soit un four . Dommage pour ces petits bémols qui nous ont gâchés cette expérience. Prix correct
Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel. 12 entrée plat dessert. Pâté maison (avec porc de la ferme) Idem pour le chorizo cuit . Un peu \loin\ de Cognac pour être ma cantine de tout les jours, domage.
