This is one of my favorite restaurants during my visiting to Europe, if I had a chance to visit Paris then I’d love to go back to the restaurant again. The service was really good, staffs were super friendly. They are so happy and energetic which made us feel welcoming. I and my husband definitely satisfied with our order, each dish we ordered was amazing! The price was affordable, from main dish to dessert we all love it. It was an unforgettable experience.

Warm and intimate bistro. Crowded with locals for lunch and the patrons are very attentive. No pretentious French bistro cuisine.

The food, service and atmosphere were all very comforting after a long day. Perfect for our family. Risotto was excellent as well as the duck and lamb stew. We enjoyed the chicken as well. Prices were very reasonable also.

Food is good, the boards were nice, the mains as well, the deserts were very good. The space is a bit too close for comfort, one more staff member is necessary on a full house, even though the two ladies serving were working super hard and were very nice. Location is nice, center and quiet street.

All seated would be filled up by 7:00 p.m. Had the best duck breast there.Price reasonable, good desserts, especially Cafe Gourmand. One of the best restaurant in Paris.

Les Bacchantes is a traditional French Brasserie that we found on Rue de Caumartin a few minutes northeast of Madeline Church. Opening hours are 12-3pm (lunch) and 6.30-12am (dinner) Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays. We had lunch here back in December, finding staff friendlier than most when it comes to dealing with non-French speaking guests. English menus are available, expect a typical French affair with food and drinks as well as daily specials. During our meal we had the beef tartare served with fries. The tartare was well dressed and tasted delicious, a very good serving that we'd happily reorder. We also enjoyed the wild boar pate that was pretty good. Our other main was a venison stew with offal flavoured brown gravy. This was an interesting order that tasted better than expected. A nice bottle of red was enjoyed during our meal. We finished off lunch with a very good molten chocolate style cake, wrapping up a pretty good meal at Les Bacchantes, a place we would happily eat at again.
