Very peaceful in October. Walked around the lake, looked for mushrooms in the forest, back to Mottaret in 15 minutes. Could take a pushchair as there are no steps (step-free alternative).
Lovely walk round lake. Easy parking. Can go as far as you like. Lakeside restaurant I haven't been to but refuge just a little higher up has spectacular views.
Nice to hike along the lake. Accessible for all.
We had a sunny day very little wind skiing was fabulous
Very quiet place and make sport all days.
