Simple menu, freshly prepared food, perfect portion and great value! Owner and staff are very warm and friendly - made this small and intimate restaurant even more special.
Good nice small place, great food with the well put presentation and tasty home-made like food. A pity do not have more than two options for starters, mains and dessert otherwise great. Only reason not getting 5 stars. Great bread as well. Nice service
Excellent food made right in front of your eyes. Interesting combination of different flavours resulting in delicious meals. The kitchen is integrated into the dining room in a clever way. Very nice atmosphere, staff very friendly. Would definitely go here again. Costs 25 for entree main dish (November 2018)
The welcome and service were incredibly friendly, both from the front of house and chefs - who cook right at the bar and do a very good job considering there are only two of them there. I took the 6 course tasting menu and was very satisfied with all of the courses and blown away by a couple. On the whole the cooking was fantastic, with some interesting combination of flavours and considered dish construction. There were a couple of slightly disappointing elements to some dishes but this should be expected from a restaurant that has only recently been taken over by its new head chef - late last year. In summary, for the size of the restaurant and the price it was a great meal and a fantastic experience. 6 course tasting and 2 glasses of wine - 58 plus service
Great food, liked the food the chef prepared for the day. L'Envie du Jour prepare the food in your view, the food is fresh and appealing, the taste is great. We ate beef and fish as our mains. Loves this place for its simple yet great food. Keep it up.
