This is a very nice world heritage to visit , but they only provide tours to see the engines and staff in the buildings . You would need at least a 1.5 hour in this place , because the tour costs at least an hour plus the waiting time.

Huge steam engines driving a pumping station. The tour guides are brilliant, able to explain in great detail the history of the pumping station as well as operating it. The pumps are operating few days per year. Definitely worth a visit, worth a large detour.
Interesting “working museum” with friendly and informative guides.
Historical place, very goog guides lead the guests thru the halls. All mechanical parts are so clean and in top conditions. Worth to have a look to every thing.
If you like engineering mechanical things this is the place for you. Absolutely marvelous. It was so well maintained and meticulously cared for not to mention the detail in the engineering and architecture it was lacks the Amsterdam school of Architecture where everything is symmetrical
Well organised site and tour, very interesting for mechanical engineers.
Very interesting place to visit!
It was closed when we stopped by, but it was still a cool thing to see
