We let our 12 year old twins chose where we ate in Dijon where we had stopped off overnight in our way back to the UK from the South of France. They used google maps and found L’Emile Brochettes and based purely on the interesting look of the place that’s where we ended up. The food was first class, the staff were very attentive and it was reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit if you end up in Dijon.

The food is quite nice and the atmosphere was different ina good way. The restaurant is decorated almost like a cave which combined with great food and good friends is a guarantee for having a good time.
It was raining, so we wanted to get inside and out of the weather. The food was unexceptional, my vegetables were lukewarm and the sauce with my chicken was poor and seemed to be from a mass catering supply company. My chicken brochette was overcooked and dry. The wine list is overly expensive and the basic Pinot Noir was average, at best. Not much evidence of a charcoal grill being used. The pork rib brochette was average but the sauce lacked BBQ sauce flavour.
Very nice place to have dinner, especially if you like meat. The square where this restaurant is situated is cosy and romantic, the restaurants and bars are located around a small fountain. Then this place in particular: a whole new experience. Order the special brochettes for a minimum of two persons and you'll see for yourself. The food was really good, the staff was really friendly and quick. Good quality for a good price.
Very fresh staff! Typically French very good meals and drinks. Really nice place!
Lovely food. Nice staff. Great spot in a lively square.
This place was recommended to many as both place to hangout and as a representative of bergundian food. I would say if you like the cafe culture. You'll be at home in this square. If you want the best food. I would say it was standard. No out of the ballpark. I would go back if invited. But it's not a must see.
Super!
