We visited this campground to talk to them about moving our 41 ft Class A there in about three weeks. The man in the office, don't know if he's the owner or manager was instantly rude with us when we asked a question about parking. His final statement before he turned and walked away from us was, "Fine! Stay where you are! I don't care!" That was after he was telling us he wasn't being rude while being as rude as possible. Beautiful park if you didn't have to deal with this guy. This is only the second time in 35 years of RVing that we've run into someone so hateful. The first one was 21 years ago and 10 miles from this park. Must be something in the water in this area.

This RV park was average and would have rated a 3 star except for my bad experience with personnel. After staying a few days we were packing up things on the patio outside the RV when an employee came by with a ride- on mower cutting grass. He passed by blowing cuttings onto the patio, picnic table, RV and me. I approached him and politely told him we would be leaving in ten minutes. He said,"I'll finish up here," and then continued cutting right beside the fire pit with the mower blade flinging sand and dust all over our things. I was waving my arms to disperse the dirt in my face and he paused to say "You could see I was cutting the grass, you could have gone inside." Inconsideration of others and ignorance is no excuse for poor performance. I stopped by the office to check out, turn in my gate pass and lodge a complaint. As I approached the door a gentleman drove up on a golf cart. He asked,"How can I help you?" I could clearly tell by hostile tone of voice and body language that he was not pleased about something. "Are you the office manager?" I asked. He responded "How can I help you?" Perhaps he did not hear me. "Are you the office manager?", one more time. Once again he ducked the question, "How can I help you?" As he was not going to identify himself I reluctantly told him of my experience, not wanting to have to repeat the story two or three times to two or three employees before talking to the person in charge. To his credit, he said that he would speak to the "kid" about his behavior. That "kid" was an adult although appeared to be rather juvenile with his baseball cap on backwards and vaping/smoking as he rode his mower. I can guess that neither of these employees were owners of the property because no small business owner that I have ever met would treat even "non-member" customers with such disdain and lack of courtesy. I will never go back and I cannot recommend this place to anyone based on my negative experience with the staff there.

We would recommend this spot to any vacationer or working man. The rules really keep things running smoothly. The features (pool, lake, volleyball, etc.) weren't available because of covid but I am sure on a good day you could keep busy all day. The resort is close to the town of Shorewood also a nice place to visit. We spent almost 5 months here and it felt like home. I found Mike very helpful and he invited us back anytime.

Very friendly staff, clean and updated bathrooms and showers. Will definitely stay here again on our way through.

We find it hard to call this campground a resort. Campground did not have our reservation when we arrived, which is why we like giving a deposit or getting an email confirmation. However, the staff was friendly and did provide us a campsite. This style of bookkeeping concerns us, as if it was a holiday week we wouldn’t have been provided a campsite. The campground is very close to 2 major freeways, which procedure a lot noise inside the park. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared rough and presented a negative look on the park. Arrived at our site which needed much cleaning. The fire pit AND the site were full of trash (including a dirty diaper). Campsites are close together. Many of the buildings need much TLC, including the bathrooms. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue getting a signal. Verizon phone was able to get 4g. Wifi was weak and not reliable. Campground is one hour from Chicago. Grocery stores and dining are about 15mins from campground. Campground includes mini golf course, lake, pool, clubhouse and beach lake. Roads were wide and provide easy access into your site. Many sites include full trees, so if you have a roof top satellite, inform the office during checkup or when making reservations.

The guy at the front in extremely rude and for no reason. They lost thousands for how they treat people.

The ONLY place we will stay when in Joliet for work! Big grounds, beautiful lake, nice spots, and great staff. A bonus is that it's close to everything but feels secluded. The geese are a sight to see. The pups love it too!

I just can’t believe how rude they were. I asked about seeing the property, and whoever I was speaking with, went off on me and hung up. I literally only got one sentence in. \u200d️
