This is definitely a must see museum. We were lucky to have come on a day that it’s free admission. It’s usually 8/person. We just donated . The audio guide was very interactive. It depicted the important highlights of the life of Bach and his lineage. We spent more than 2 hours. There are samples of audio of Bach’s musical pieces which takes you back to this time era. What an amazing museum.

Amazing collection of historical artefacts and the family history is very interesting. Beautiful part of the city. The church next door is not part of the exhibition. There is a beautiful coffee shop as part of the museum.
It is a mandatory stop for anyone who is a lover of classical music! The service at the museum is great!
This museum is Great! It's free on the first Tuesday of every month and well worth seeing if you enjoy Bach and his music. The museum is very in-depth and explores all areas of Bach's life, from youth to death, and the lives of those around him. There is even a organ that Bach himself played on! There is a small yet beautiful flower garden in the back of the museum as well.
Amazing museum, I was really moved by the original scores. Would recommend to any music lover and especially for Bach admirers.
Small museum but adequate to learn about Bach. Very thoughtful and sincere in its use of technology to explain the life of Bach...
Really, really very impressive and full-experience museum. Even my ten year old daughter liked it. Good facilities, be sure to check out the musicroom where you can increase a specific instrument by activating a bigger accent by a push of a button!
Great experience overall, both for fans of Bach and those new to his works. Lots of information in a neat, compressed format and interesting artifacts to look at through the main tour. There are two other sections that are not as interesting overal and feel like filler in comparison to the main tour. Very friendly and open service. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of information they provided us with when we asked. It's not a big museum, and doesn't have the amount of artifacts you might expect, but overall it's really compact which makes for a great experience.
