Obnoxious staff. I returned a bottle of wine and was pestered as to why I was returning it after a member of staff accepted it and processed the return. Made me feel like a burden to do such an act. I bought some more groceries on that visit and was asked by a member of staff (Roslyn) if I was buying the same bottle of wine (which I wasn't) and she gave me a nasty glare and look up and down. Other waitrose stores and staff have been fine, but the complaint dealing procedure was utterly dreadful too. The store manager, Robert, called me after repeatedly asking what actions were made to head office. He lacked any sympathy or understanding and felt the need to tell me it wasn't his job to tell me what happened. I have ceased all my ties with Waitrose and John Lewis now. I'd give the place a half star if I could.
