The visitor centre is ok for a bite to eat but the real joy of this place is the park itself. It's a truly beautiful place to come for a walk and relax in amongst the most beautiful scenery

This is a fantastic place to walk your dog or go for a lovely woodland walk. Been coming here since i was a child. There is a cafe serving food and drinks a play park and lots of open space to get fresh air and see wildlife. Toilets and plenty of parking too rememberyour change as it is pay and display. As it is still covid and lockdown the staff at the cafe have social distancing markings on the floor, signs and sanitiser. The play park and benches are currently out of use for safety reasons.

Great country park with lots of bits for children to explore. Coffee shop and toilets at the visitors centre. Parking is 3 payment on exit by card.

Quite a nice wood with plenty of footpaths to make your walk as long or as short as you like, but so many people that it isn't a place to go if you are looking for seclusion or a bit of solitude or even peace and quiet. Car park is three pounds for the day and there are toilets in a couple of places so not bad but you will have to put up with people barbecuing where they shouldn't be, cyclists coming at you all angles and dogs falling out with each other. Nice to see a large family of swans on the lake.
