Really charming place. It’s a wonderful ride on an old quarry railway. Narrow gauge line. Lovely little locomotives and a chance to travel in a polish carriage. A good shop with second books no one knows how to put through the till. A great exhibition in the engine shed and especially at the other end of the line. A great day out for families. Well priced too.

Excellent trip on the Santa special with my grandchildren (in a childcare bubble!). Really well organised, lovely warm mince pies & a visit to Santa after the ride on the steam train.

Amazing Santa experience. Very well thought out with great attention to detail. The staff were so polite and organised. It’s not over dramatised and doesn’t take too long, which is perfect for little ones. Plus the added food and drink really makes a difference. I highly recommend this experience for little ones.

I have been visiting Leighton Buzzard Railway, with my father for the last 30 years and i can honestly say that every visit was wonderful. The staff/volunteers are exceptionally friendly and helpful and enthusiastic. The small cafe is well run and reasonably priced though it is looking and feeling a little dilapidated and care worn. The ticket office and shop is well stocked with a good range of railway paraphernalia and of course tickets. Leighton Buzzard Railway is one of the finest in the country, i urge you when things are safer to please pay a visit. Kids will love it, as i bet you will too.
