I ended up going to the Hendon centre as they were able to run through the pathway to book and explain everything in detail to me, I did initially call the Essex branch and did not get through after 3 attempts, after the 4th attempt the lady who answered my call did not seem to fussed to speak to me and was rushing me through the call, I tried to explain I am in london but would prefer to go to the Essex branch due to the magnet strength but before I could say that she passed me through to a chap in Hendon who booked me in and took the time to answer my questions. Very disappointed with the initial stage as the customer service I received from Essex was poor. I am a private patient and do not expect to be treated this way even if I was an nhs patient it should not matter . I paid for a lower field scan but really wanted the higher field magnet. Please train your staff in Essex to provide customers with the dignity and respect they deserve!! Thank you to the chap in Hendon for booking me in and for taking the time to answer my concerns.
