The measures put into place due to covid are brilliant. I live in Wigan and usually drive to Bolton for my nandos fix but travelled to Leigh due to Bolton being in lockdown and the chicken here wasn't as good. It was tasty but a little drier than I'm used to.
I love nandos, but having to download an app in order to gain entry to the restaurant isn't very inclusive. This is such a shame when most other businesses will help you if you're lacking the technology and do it on their own. It was a very militant no app no entry here. Also now that you're relying on the staff to come to your table and refill drinks etc it would be helpful if they were a little more attentive. Won't be returning in a hurry, very disappointed.
I love nandos and me and the mrs went there for an early Valentine's meal at dinner while the kids where at school and it didn't disappoint and the wings roulette was just awesome and the share meal platter was just awesome.
We queued up outside for 15 minutes ahead of opening time. They took my details for track & trace purposes. Said I should have received a link to order which obviously didn't as don't have a smartphone. I was told that it wasn't possible for me to place an order so I can't eat basically. Politely asked if that was correct and was told yes. So we left. So beware if you don't have a smartphone you won't be allowed in!
