The aim is to reduce the number of infections in hospitals with an evidence based app with specific questions, a customized answer and background information. Armed with the right tools, patients can partake in care instead of being taken care of. The strength of the project lies in the way in which the information is presented to the patient, in a focused, personal and manageble format. Often patients have more than one health problem. Therefore, besides infection modules, other modules will be developed for the application in the future.
