Nice and healthy food, great atmosphere, best view in Leiden!
Who ever had brunch at this la place before V&D can see how much inferior this new la place is. Nonetheless, it is the best place to enjoy a meal in Leiden. The view is stunning, the variety and quality of food excellent and the interior so warm and cozy. Highly recommended
I have yet to find a place where the fries taste worse. Absolutely disgusting. More soggy than potato. STAY AWAY!
Very very bad experience! I went there for breakfast and nobody could speak any English!!! In this country almost everybody is able to speak a least a little and it was so weird that nobody can answer my very simple question! But this is not the problem, so the poor girl asked her colleague to answer my question. The other girl came and I repeated my question and while she was thinking to formulate a sentence in English, she took her cellphone, started speaking and left!!! The staff were very rude and unfriendly! They were like high school kids who would whisper and laugh out loud at your face when you ask them a question about bread!! The food and the location of this place is great. The terrace is amazingly beautiful and has very nice view. I would have said it is worth trying if the staff were better but I will not come back here and I do not recommend it to others specially English speaking ones. If I want a la place food I rather cycle a bit more and try an nicer place with nicer people. This place is very crowded and food is very popular I wonder why the choice of staff is poorly done.
